Blue Pure 311 Auto/411 Auto
Blue Pure air purifiers are available in two models. All models have a pre-filter and a HEPA Silent TM main filter for air purification. All Blue Pure models have control functions and a built-in sensor.
The air purifier consists mainly of a motor, a fan and filters. The air purifier removes pollutants from the air in a room to improve indoor air quality.
You can change the air purifier settings at any time using the control panel on the air purifier
Recommendations for best performance
- Use the air purifier in a room that does not exceed the recommended room size.
- Place the air purifier in a location that allows air to circulate freely in, out, and around the air purifier.
- Do not place the air purifier closer than 10 cm (4 inches) to any other object.
- Keep the doors and windows in the room with the air purifier closed during operation.
- Only use original Blueair filters.
- Change the main filter when the filter change indicator appears on the control panel.
- Follow the maintenance instructions in this manual.

Blue Pure 311 Auto/411 AutoAir purifiers are electrical devices for indoor use only, take the necessary precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
- This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed in the use of the device .
- Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Always disconnect the device from the power supply before servicing.
- Do not attempt to open or service the device yourself. Service must be performed by the manufacturer, service agent or similarly qualified personnel using only genuine Blueair replacement parts.
- Make sure that the mains cable and mains plug cannot be damaged. To avoid a hazard, a damaged power cord must always be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service, or a similarly qualified person.
- If the device is damaged or not working properly, switch it off, unplug it and contact Blueair.
- The mains plug must be firmly plugged into the socket.
- When disconnecting the device from the mains, do not pull on the mains cable but on the mains plug.
- Use the power cord that came with your Blueair air purifier to plug it directly and firmly into an appropriate outlet.
- Do not use an extension cord or power strip. Observe the type plate on your device.
- Do not modify the power plug in any way. If the plug does not fit the outlet, consult qualified personnel to install the proper outlet.
- Use the supplied power cord exclusively for the device.
- Make sure that nothing penetrates or blocks the air inlets and outlets, as this may lead to electric shock or damage to the device.
- Do not place any objects on or directly against the device.
- Do not sit, stand, climb or hang on the device.
- Keep the device, including the power cord, away from hot surfaces and open flames.
- Keep the device and the mains plug away from water and other liquids.
- Keep the device and the power plug away from chemicals such as pesticides and deodorants.
- Place the device on the floor. The device must be placed on a stable surface.
- Do not use the device outdoors or in humid areas such as bathrooms, laundry rooms or pool areas.
Getting started
Step 1:Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
Step 2:Press the button to turn on the air purifier and set the fan speed mode.
On/off and fan speed control
Available settings are: Auto, Night, Daily, Boost and Off.
The indicator lights on the touch button show the selected fan speed. The backlight will automatically fully dim down 5 seconds after pressing the touch button, indicating a disabled fan speed control mode. Press the touch button once to re-enable power and fan speed control. The indicator lights will light up and you can set the fan speed mode again.
Autostart:
The auto-start feature automatically restarts the air purifier at the last set speed when unplugged, used with a power button timer, or a power outage occurs.
car mode:
In Auto mode, the air purifier automatically controls the airflow based on the air quality information from the sensor.
On/Auto mode:
Press once to turn on the device and put it in auto mode.
Night mode:
Press twice to switch to night mode (low fan speed)
Everyday Mode:
Press three times to set everyday mode (medium fan speed).
Boost-Modus:
Press four times to switch to Boost mode (high fan speed).
Out of:
Press five times to turn off the device.
Air quality information
Particulate matter (PM) air quality values are displayed using a color scale on the air quality indicator. The air quality display is completely dimmed in night mode.
PM2.5, particulate matter, particles with a diameter of 2.5 microns or less.

Filter
The air purifier comes with a fabric pre-filter and a main filter. The filters clean the air of both particles and gases. For optimal performance, clean the pre-filters regularly and change the main filter when the air purifier indicates a filter change. To find the right main filter for your air purifier, use the Blueair app or visit www.blueair.com. The model number of your air purifier can be found on the rating plate on the air purifier.
Important:Always switch off the device and disconnect it from the power supply before changing filters, cleaning or performing maintenance.

Change filters:
When the indicator light turns red (after 6 months of operation), you should change the main filter.
Filter change indicator:
Press the button for 7 seconds to reset the filter change indicator.
Clean and change the pre-filters
Clean the pre-filter regularly for optimal performance. Vacuum the outside of the fabric pre-filter with a soft brush attachment to remove dust. If the pre-filter needs a more thorough cleaning, wash it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at a low temperature.
Important:Before machine washing, pinch the Velcro strips on the pre-filter.
Step 1:
Switch off the device and unplug the power cord.
Step 2:
Gently push down on the top cylinder while turning it counterclockwise to unlock it.
Step 3:
Remove the top cylinder from the unit.
Step 4:
Open the pre-filter cover and remove the pre-filter.
Step 5:
Wash the pre-filter in the washing machine according to the instructions on the pre-filter label.
Step 6:
Put the pre-filter back on the device.
Adjust the pre-filter and bezel to hide the power cord on the back.
Step 7:
Gently push the top cylinder down
At the same time turn it clockwise to secure it back in the lock.
Step 8:
Connect the device.
Change the main filter
When changing the filter, vacuum any dust that may have accumulated inside the unit.
Important! Use only genuine Blueair filters that are appropriate for the model to ensure proper air purifier function and performance and to qualify for full warranty coverage.
Step 1:
When the indicator light turns red, it's time to change the main filter.
Step 2:
Switch off the device and unplug the power cord.
Step 3:
Gently push down on the top cylinder while turning it counterclockwise to unlock it.
Step 4:
Remove the top cylinder from the unit.
Step 5:
Open the pre-filter cover and remove the pre-filter.
Step 6:
Carefully remove the filter shelf ring.
Step 7:
Grab the filter handles and pull up to remove the main filter from the internal structure.
Step 8:
Position the new main filter on the inner structure. The filter handles should face up.
Step 9:
Press the filter retainer ring firmly into place over the main filter. The filter storage ring protects the top edge of the main filter from damage.
Step 10:
Put the pre-filter back on the device.
Adjust the pre-filter and bezel to hide the power cord on the back.
Step 11:
Gently push down on the top cylinder while turning clockwise to secure the latch.
Step 12:
Connect the device.
Step 13:
Press the touch button for 7 seconds to reset the filter change timer.
This tells the air purifier that you have changed the filter.
The indicator light flashes for 4 seconds and then changes from red to white.
Care and Maintenance
Generally
- Disconnect the air purifier from the power supply before servicing.
- Do not allow foreign objects to enter the air inlets or air outlets. This can cause electric shock or damage the air purifier.
- Never clean with gasoline, chemical solvents or corrosive materials as these agents can damage the air cleaner.
- Make sure the air purifier is completely dry before connecting to the power supply.
- Do not wash the main filter. The main filter is not washable or reusable.

- Wash the pre-filter according to the instructions on the pre-filter label or vacuum the pre-filter with a soft brush attachment.
- Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, clean, damp cloth.
- Clean and inspect the power cord and plug for wear or damage.
- Clean the sensor when changing the main filter.
Clean the air quality sensor
The inlet for the air quality sensor is located on the back of the air purifier.
Important:Do not use fingers or other non-recommended objects to clean the inside of the sensor inlet.
Step 1:
Switch off the device and unplug the power cord.
Step 2:
Gently push down on the top cylinder while turning it counterclockwise to unlock it.
Step 3:
Remove the top cylinder from the unit.
Step 4:
Press the button on the inside of the device to open the lid covering the sensor and remove the lid.
Step 5:
Clean the sensor gently with a cotton swab and attach the sensor cover
Step 6:
Gently push down on the top cylinder while turning clockwise to secure the latch.
Step 7:
Connect the device.

This air purifier should be recycled as e-waste and the filter as plastic according to local regulations. If you have any questions about the disposal of this air purifier, please contact your local authorities or your Blueair dealer and ask for the correct recycling method.
